Actionable insight and advice directly from our joint Akashic Records 

Today, I opened the Akashic Records for us, to see if there was any advice on how to tackle this first month of the new year. If you’re a returning reader here, you know the guidance we get there is for all of us, so for you the reader of this post, for my social following and myself alike. It is intended to help us focus our intuition work for this month.

The central message for January

The reading today was very special I think, because it really reflected on how difficult the past year or even two years have been and that we have lighter times to look forward. So that sounds hopefull!  The central message was wrapped in a clear visual that we can refer back to anytime to remember again what our intuition focus for the month could be:  “Take a pause, stand still, seemingly without purpose or goal, like an old man standing still in the rain. Seeing this man, a passer-by would wonder: why is he not doing anything about this, why is he not taking shelter or hurrying home or even putting up an umbrella to protect himself? Just allow. Just allow, for now. You’ll know when it’s time to put up an umbrella again, or to run on home. That time will come again. But for now, just allow.”

This is what the Records share for January 2022 – and the year 2022

This month is a transition, it’s a moment of taking stock, it’s a period of pausing to take in and to process. Not in a very active way, such as when we would tell you: look at all you’ve learned, look at all you’ve done wrong and assess. No. It’s about an energetic pause, to let experiences, thoughts, ideas, intentions, new year’s resolutions just sink into your awareness. Soak it up. Without you actually doing much to make it happen. It’s an allowing or giving time and space to a happening that’s going on. You can either choose to allow it or to obstruct it, by putting up road blocks so that this happening is not flowing easily, but needs to make detours to be completed. If you want to move forward, allow this process to unfold and to be completed without meddling from yourself. To allow this to happen, you’ll need to trust the process. More than ever, now is the time to do this, to trust the process, the unfolding, the sinking-in into your being, your awareness. Take a pause, stand still, seemingly without purpose or goal, like an old man standing still in the rain. Seeing this man, a passer-by would wonder: why is he not doing anything about this, why is he not taking shelter or hurrying home or even putting up an umbrella to protect himself? That’s going to be what you must do, be like that old man. And you’ll notice that just standing there in the rain isn’t all that bad, it’s washing you clean, it gives off a refreshing feeling, it’s making you smile even, just to stand there like that. It gives you a moment to feel into whatever is happening, whatever you’re experiencing, whatever you’re feeling… You may even start enjoying letting things unfold for you, being surprised by what befalls you next and starting to get curious what will happen now that you’re not that forcefully involved in events anymore. Let go of expectations we all have nowadays that we must constantly and at all times have a purpose, have somewhere to go, know exactly what to do, know what we want, and being on the move with precise direction. What if you experience stillness this month? What if you start out the year in ‘limbo’, not knowing, not going, not aiming, not controlling? Just allow. Just allow, for now. You’ll know when it’s time to put up an umbrella again, or to run on home. That time will come again. But for now, just allow.

This is what was shared for 2022

You’re preparing for the year to come. A year full of turmoil. So you’ll need to be prepared, you’ll need to make space, and to integrate your lessons. Again, not in an active way, assessing, analyzing… but energetically letting all of it find place inside your being. Then you’ll close off things of the past and be more ready and able to face the year ahead with it’s beauty and challenges that will inevitably come onto your path. This year will be like spring. Everything that was seemingly dark during winter, will start to blossom. As you well know, winter only seems dark, but in fact, beneath the soil new life is growing to be revealed during the springtime. All seemed dead and awful maybe, but it was at the same time building new things. Death is life in that sense, always returning to new again. You may have already noticed this happening in your life. Where in the past year and for others two years, things we ‘dying’ off and you may have despaired or worried what would come next. And now looking back, you may realize that, yes, some things ended or are ending, but other things are coming up from out of the ground, having silently grown there into reality for a while now. You can see that now, it’s growing and soon you may be able to see it materialize in your life. And that can give you so much hope, to look at it as a growing seed in the dark ground transforming into a little green plant and then into a sapling maybe. This year feels fresh and new and green, like a breath of fresh air for us take in again. Can you feel it in your lungs, this freshness, this newness? This change? Go into the year, expecting freshness and trusting the natural cycle of the seasons to unfold like it always does.
