About your intuitive type

You are quite connected to your soul and you may also  be aware of you higher self or even your spirit guides – or not…  But you nonetheless long to deepen your connection to your soul: you know there is still so much profound guidance and insight to be gained by more regular practice or a change in your normal routine. You may struggle to find the time or the variation in tools to actually get that depth all the time.

You are further in the intuitive world then a lot of others. That’s why I have selected a wider variation of tools for you. Please don’t get overwhelmed by; it’s meant to give you more to choose from, to just put more options in your Intuition Toolkit, so to say. You pick one that suits you at one particular moment, and at another time, you do something else. The important part is to enjoy the experience of it and experience more, different and deeper ways to connect to your soul.

The voice of the thinking mind and the voice of the intuiton

How do we know it is in fact our intuition that’s ‘talking’ here?

The voice of your thinking mind is loud and it wants to be right. It can be very convincing and it it taps into your fear or anger or jealousy or other ‘negative’ emotions. It addresses your insecurities head on. Thoughts coming up could be something along the lines of: “You’re not worth it.”, “It’s not safe” and “You couldn’t do that if your life depended on it!” or “That may work for others, but not for you”.

The voice of your soul, your intuition doesn’t speak much and it’s voice is soft. You really have to pay attention and listen hard to actually hear the golden advice it gives you. It’s messages are based on love alone, and always assume the best of you. It never uses insecurities or fear. It might just come in as a subtle feeling or a soft, gentle voice, very difficult to distinguish over all the other noice.

How to get more of the voice of the soul?

How can you respectfully allow the thinking mind to step aside a bit to let in the sound of the soul more clearly? The first, most important step is to start to become aware of when your intuition is giving you guidance. You can start this by practicing your awareness, using your thinking mind as little as you can. That’s exactly what we’ll do in the Intuitive Walking Practice.

1. Energetic housekeeping

In this practice, you’ll learn how to cleanse your energy field, let go of unwanted energy and enhance your energy with new fresh energy. You can use this exercise any time when you’re about to start a a practice, and you could make it shorter or pick parts from it as you need in the moment.

This is  a very powerful way to deepen your current practice and the connection with your soul. Because if you’re taking care of your energy in a more mindfull way, and you let old energy go, you create more energetic room within you to receive more prompts and guidance from your soul. In other words: your connection to your soul will deepen by doing this.

2. Body Wisdom Practice

This practice is especially well suited for you, as someone who already has built the trust in the voice of the soul and the intuition. You’ll learn a very important way to connect, where you’ll be introduced to using your inner body wisdom to learn about yourself; you’ll discover you have an incredibly powerful source of knowledge within. If it resonates with you, you can take this audio as a great starting point to build a new routine for getting insight into yourself.

In this short exercise of under 5 minutes, you’ll do  a ‘physical check’ of your body, but at an energetic level

3. Variation in your practice

As you are more advanced, I can imagine that sometimes you long for a bit of variation in the way you connect to your soul. For me, when I try a different approach once in a while, so many other, new things come up. Not everything is for you, and there is no ‘one size fits all’ in this. Therefore, I think it could be very valuable for you to listen to the podcast “11 ways to meditate, even if you can’t focus”. If you’re a bit pressed for time, you might want to skip my own personal meditation journey and start at 5:00 minutes.

4. Heal your hurts with the Rose Practice

Another way to deepen your connection to your soul is to start healing your old hurts. Please listen to Intuition Tools Podcast episode “Use your everpresent source of love within – for energetic healing of old stuff”, starting at 6:54 minutes. In the episode I talk about old things that you thought you had healed and didn’t have to look at again. This episode could introduce you to the incredibly helpful possibility of using the Chakra’s to interpret what feelings or hurts you are dealing with, what they mean, what connections there are to other subjects that you previously didn’t think were related at all. 

At the end, you’ll learn how to heal old hurts that resurface by using the everpresent source of love within you via the Rose Practice (we’ll do it together on the episode).

5. Manifesting like a pro

Have you ever looked into the law of attraction or manifesting with the Universe? I know there are a lot of experts talking about, but I would like to introduce you to a way that has a bit of a different approach.

It is less about ‘getting’ and demanding and more of a cooperation and ‘letting things unfold’. For me, this closely relates to having a stronger connection with your soul.
