About your intuitive type
You’re an orchid seed flower, because while you may not have complete unconditional faith in intuitive tools and your own perception of them, and you may even doubt if you have an intuition at all, you also came to be here for a reason and that is that you want a closer connection with your Soul in one way or another. It may be that you want to feel more in lign with who you are on a daily level, or that you want to know you’re on the right track for you in the long run. Or to put it simply: you want to grow.
As you’re a creative person, I’ve put together a starting-out kit for you centered around writing and drawing. These exercises can be (optionally) enhanced by combining them with the audio guides (intuitive walking and body wisdom practice). I’ll talk you through both in the audios – so don’t worry about how to do it at all!
Starting to hear and trust the voice of the soul – your intuition
If I may take a guess, I would say that you think your intuition can’t really be taken seriously in making decisions or at least that it could never be equal or more valued then the logic, thinking mind. But if you want to connect to your soul, and is essentence ‘connect to yourself’, you can now start a change by looking at the connection with your soul from a different agle. Just humor me….
Has it ever happened to you where you made a decision, big or small, and in the back of your head you heard a little voice “that’s not right for me”, or something similar? Or while you made the decision you felt something in the pit of your stomach, maybe pain, or nausea, or something else, that, just for a moment,
had you realize somewhere inside of you, that what you were about to do wasn’t right? Those things were your intuition, your inner wisdom, your soul giving you guidance.
The voice of the thinking mind and the voice of the intuiton
How do we know it is in fact our intuition that’s ‘talking’ here?
The voice of your thinking mind is loud and it wants to be right. It can be very convincing and it it taps into your fear or anger or jealousy or other ‘negative’ emotions. It addresses your insecurities head on. Thoughts coming up could be something along the lines of: “You’re not worth it.”, “It’s not safe” and “You couldn’t do that if your life depended on it!” or “That may work for others, but not for you”.
The voice of your soul, your intuition doesn’t speak much and it’s voice is soft. You really have to pay attention and listen hard to actually hear the golden advice it gives you. It’s messages are based on love alone, and always assume the best of you. It never uses insecurities or fear. It might just come in as a subtle feeling or a soft, gentle voice, very difficult to distinguish over all the other noice.
How to get more of the voice of the soul?
How can you respectfully allow the thinking mind to step aside a bit to let in the sound of the soul more clearly? The first, most important step is to start to become aware of when your intuition is giving you guidance. You can start this by practicing your awareness, using your thinking mind as little as you can. That’s exactly what we’ll do in the Journal Prompts.
1. Journal Prompts
In these journal prompts we’ll look into how our relationship with our own intuition has been up untill now, ánd how we would want it to become going forwards.
I know you don’t have much time to spare. You could do these prompts by intuitively writing down what comes to mind when you sit down to write. Try writing with your ‘wrong’ hand or typing with 10 fingers, so your mind is occupied elsewhere and can’t interfere as much in the contents of what you’re writing.
But if you do have 10 minutes to spare, I suggest you do the prompts áfter the Intuitive Walking Practice.
By walking mindfully you’ll practice becoming more aware of other parts of yourself then just the thinking mind and you’ll learn to recognize when your body or your soul is guiding you. Just listen to the audio and go with it.
Take your phone, record a voice memo or jot down a few words and upon returning take notes of how it all went. Pick a spot to walk and make it the least crowded option near from where you are now, preferably with as little cars as possible.
2. Body Scan Drawing
For another day you if you can take 5 or 10 minutes, you can dive into the body scan drawing. You will investigate how you are doing on the inside, and connect to yourself at a whole new level then what you have been used to so far probably.
This is how: take the paper, sit down comfortably and close your eyes. Take a few deep, calming breaths and turn your attention inwards deep into your body. Keep breathing and inquire where attention is needed – and patiently wait. While keeping your eyes closed, draw on your paper what you ‘saw’.
When you have some time to spare (I know you’re busy, so optional) it is highly effective to do this exercise combined with the Body Wisdom Practice (audio guided).
In this short exercise of under 5 minutes, you’ll be guided through this ‘physical check’ of your body at an energetic level.
3. No Time!
You may not have all the time in the world to build the connection with your soul, but pay attention here: you can change almost all intuitive or spiritual practices to make them a 2-minute-a-day-Routine, as I call it.
It is super effective to build a routine of devoted time to yourself for even 2 minutes a day; it will have a huge impact on your connection with your soul, your self. If you choose to do a daily routine and you are true to your promise to yourself to keep that time, you’ll grow your self respect and self love and it gives your system a moment to reboot (at the cellular level).

taking 2 minutes a day and what actually to do, listen to this 7 minute episode of Intuition Tools Podcast:“The magical solution for ‘no time!’; how to CREATE time for yourself”.
